Andrea was born in Bogotá Colombia. She has worked in the performing arts industry for 16 years, nationally and internationally with companies including Kneehigh Theatre Company, Candocco and Akram Khan Dance Company. In 2010 based in London, after an invitation of an artistic residence by Kneehigh, she became the Co Artistic Director of Salida Productions Theatre and Film Company.

Performing credits include: Theatre: Romeo and Juliet (Salida Productions & Mercury Theatre co-production), Gutter Junky (Assembly Hall at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival), O Rei Artist in Residence at RichMix, Saturday Night Fever and Dirty Dancing (Future Cinema) TV: Doctors (BBC) Film: The Muppets Most Wanted (Disney) and Avengers the Age of Ultron (Marvel Studios).

Credits as Choreographer and Movement Director include: Theatre: Macbeth (NYT West End), Barking in Essex (West End), Private Thoughts in Public Spaces (winner of the best play at CASA Theatre Festival and nominated for a LUKAS award), Speed Twins (Riverside Studios), Fu Manchu Complex (Oval House). TV: Single Ladies (VH1 US TV), Doctors (BBC).

Andrea is also the creator of the international dance project One Day One Dance, joining for the first time the English National Ballet and Flawless at London O2 Arena.
