Calum trained as an actor at LAMDA. His work as an actor includes: A Voyage Round My Father (Theatre Royal Bath); Hamlet, The Oresteia (Park Avenue Armory, New York); Bloody Difficult Women (Riverside Studios); Switzerland (West End/Theatre Royal Bath); Mary Stuart, Hamlet (Almeida/West End); The Ghost Train, Too Clever by Half (Told by An Idiot/Manchester Royal Exchange); Dunsinane (RSC/NT Scotland); Tartuffe (Birmingham REP); Merry Wives of Windsor, The Mouse and His Child, Macbeth, Jubilee (RSC); The Prince of Denmark (National Theatre); Eastenders, Holby City, Cbeebies A Midsummer Night's Dream (BBC).

Calum also works as a writer: FANNY  (RJG Productions / Watermill Theatre); piano_play (The Other Palace, Studio; Underbelly, Edinburgh Festival); What Goes On In Front Of Closed Doors, co-written with Emma Bentley, (Pleasance, Edinburgh Festival; UK Tour).
He has also worked extensively in the world of immersive theatre creating experiences with well known children's intellectual properties including Paddington Bear, Peter Rabit, Percy The Park Keeper and The Wombles.
Calum is a member of the freelance teaching faculty at Mountview drama school where he teaches classical text. He is the owner of My LAMDA Tutor, a company specialising in preparing young people for performance and communication exams with LAMDA Exams. Calum also has a pastoral role at LAMDA's drama school as a mentor to graduating students; and, he is an Associate Artist at Playbox Theatre, Warwickshire.
