Sean is currently Associate Artistic Director of Shakespeare’s Globe. Before this he was the Artistic Director of the Lyric Hammersmith. Sean was an Associate Director of the Oxford Stage Company from 2001 to 2006 and has also worked at the National Theatre, RSC, Tricycle, Royal Court, Donmar Warehouse, Chichester Festival Theatre and the Abbey Theatre in Dublin.
