Stephen Harper Stephen is a long term collaborator of Told by an Idiot. He has devised and performed in six of their productions, most recently Never Try This At Home(Soho Theatre) and Get Happy (Barbican, The Beijing Comedy Festival and Luxembourg) and has collaborated on many more. His directing credits include: Cabaret of Blood (co production between Hi Jinx and Told by an Idiot); I had a Black Dog (Smallnose Productions); Flat Pack (OH Productions); The Drips (Facepack Theatre); Saudade (The Ugly Duck); Government Inspector and Crowbar Hotel (The Rose Theatre). Other credits include: Associate director of The Paper Man (Improbable Theatre); co-director on Goodbye Gunther (The Pleasance Theatre); slapstick director on Pippi Longstocking (Reykjavik City Theatre) and The Twits (The Royal Court) and movement director on The 1966 World Cup (BAC). Stephen’s recent acting work includes: Opening Skinners Box (Improbable Theatre); Don Quixote (Little Soldier); The Mouse and his Child and Merry Wives of Windsor (The RSC) and War Horse (National Theatre and the West End).
